Generative design and Machine Learning For architects
This course was held to teach data science in architecture and urban planning at the Technology and Innovation Center of Shahid Beheshti University. The course chapters were divided into three sections: machine learning instruction, python instruction, and Generative design, and students followed all three areas simultaneously. In the Generative design part, students were able to generate datasets in their field of interest in building science, such as structure, energy consumption, daylight, etc. In the Grasshopper, they reached the final design through Generative design and optimization algorithms. The machine learning section first taught the basics of statistics and mathematics and then unsupervised and supervised algorithms. In the Python programming language section, students could also code artificial intelligence algorithms and use the data set they generated in section one.

Generative design and Data Generation in Grasshopper
This course was organized by the Technology and Innovation Center of Shahid Beheshti University to teach how to generate data in Grasshopper. This course consisted of two stages. In the first stage, students learned plugins related to data storage, such as LunchBox and Kangaroo. This data set can be used to estimate building performance indicators or optimization. In the second stage, the students were introduced to the Colibri plugin and the Design Explorer platform. By using these two items, designers can choose the optimal item visually and by using a diagram.

Photoshop and Graphic Design for architects
This course was held in 2018 by the Scientific Association of Isfahan Art University. This course’s purpose was to teach students Photoshop software and the rules of architecture presentation. Thirty students participated in this course, and at the end of the course, they were awarded a certificate by Isfahan Art University.
