BSPsim APP

BSP was founded in 2021 with the help of students and professors of Shahid Beheshti University. This startup aims to create a building evaluation system in various sectors. This system is currently under development and will be released soon for developers, students, and researchers.

I have collaborated on this project as a computational designer and indoor environmental quality specialist.

What is BSP?

BSPsim is a comprehensive and web-based simulation tool that evaluates building performance with the help of artificial intelligence algorithms. This tool provides assessments in multiple areas of energy, thermal comfort, structure, light, acoustics, fire, etc., at different scales, in the shortest time and with the highest accuracy, for all stakeholders of the building industry, regardless of their expertise.

With this tool, the results of the most complex calculations and simulations are provided to the user to discover the best answers, compare options and measure the compliance of conditions with national and international standards.

Decisions in the early stage of design have lower costs and a more significant impact on the project. The traditional design process requires more effort and cost in the documentation stage, while the integrated and optimal design process requires more steps in the initial stages of the project.
With the help of this tool, you will be able to make the right decisions in the early stages of design so that you can see the most significant effect on energy consumption and the quality of the indoor environment by spending less money.

Our Team

BSPsim started after feeling the need for a local, accessible, reliable, efficient, and according to the needs of users and operators of the construction industry in the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of Shahid Beheshti University. The team brings experts with topics related to building performance assessment in various fields, including building science, architectural technology, computer science, and architectural engineering.

After winning first place for the “NOA” project at the Science and Technology Park of Shahid Beheshti University in July 2021, this group developed and expanded the tool.

This tool, completed over time, will cover more comprehensive and inclusive fields, and due to the way it is compiled with a learning model, it will be more accurate and faster than before.
